Recipe Book Recommendations

I love to cook. This is one of my relaxations in life. Yes, even on vacation or a weekend with friends at our vacation homes you will find me cooking something up. I only wish at times I could be like Martha Stewart or Paula Deen in that I have a feeling that they may have staff to clean all the pots, pans and mess after a master piece of cooking. Well truly for me when in a pinch for a big meal and company, Randy does such the duty for me. What a good hubbie he can sometimes be.

In loving to cook I have lots of cookbooks and magazines. Barnes and Nobles loves to usher me into their store. I just like to read new receipes to try out on family and friends. I also like to see something and then tweak it by adding a little of this and that of my own. So here is a list of cookbooks that I like to use. These are ones that I have been using recently. I plan to update with more, but with what I have listed now I hope that you may find them helpful too when wanting to try something new or spicing up something you already make.

Even the other night Randy tried something from The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond. He is a grill man and loved the prep/coating she listed for her Roasted Beef Tenderloin recipe. He loved the crust it made. So here is my list and if you have any comments on any of the recipes you find or books you use or recipes you’d love to share, just let me know.
